Grand Opening! Our Welcome Center and Model Are Now Open!

A burst of applause and smiles all around greeted Westcott Lakes Board Chairman Jim Joanos and his wife, Betty Lou, as they cut the ribbon officially opening the new Westcott Lakes Welcome Center and Model on Tuesday, May 29th.  The approximately 70 attendees included the Westcott Lakes Board of Directors and Advisory Board, members of the PRAXEIS Management team, Westcott Lakes Founders Club Members, priority depositors, Westcott Lakes staff, construction team, interior design team, and various members of the media.

As guests were ushered into the Welcome Center, they received flutes of champagne with which to toast the much-anticipated event.  Following the ribbon cutting to offically open the Model, everyone was invited to tour the new facilities.  Several Florida State Alumni Club Associates were present to greet guests and point out interesting features.  Light jazz set the mood for the afternoon celebration.  Guests oohed and aahed from room to room as they mingled with friends and enjoyed a variety of beverages and delicious finger foods and sweets.

By far, the favorite tour stop was the Model.  Its floor plan and tastefully designed interiors gave Founders Club Members and members-to-be a realistic glimpse into their future life at Westcott Lakes.  Adding to the home-like atmosphere was a scrapbook of past Westcott Lakes events as well as framed photos of Westcott Lakes members.

The Grand Opening of the Westcott Lakes Welcome Center and Model is a momentous step in the realization of this thriving upscale community and an important milestone in bringing alive the future of Westcott Lakes.

"Now there are even more reasons to get excited about FSU's new Life Fulfilling Community," commented FSU President T.K. Westcott Lakes "Premiere" an Exciting Crowd-Pleaser

Over 300 future friends and neighbors made the "scene" at the Westcott Lakes Premiere Event on October 5 at the University Center Club Ballroom in Doak Campbell Stadium of Florida State University.  At the event held for Priority Depositors to kick off the Priority Home Selection phase of Westcott Lakes, the audience walked in on a red carpet leading upstairs.  Cocktails and hors d'oeuvres were enjoyed as Oscar-winning music was played.  The gala evening began with FSU's rousing USO Tribute Show featuring the music of the Andrews Sisters.  Jim Joanos, Board President and Depositor, welcomed everyone and introduced the speakers who explained why the Priority Home Selection phase is so exciting and is just the beginning of greater things to come.  The architect of Westcott Lakes presented beautifully realistic renderings, floor plans and site plans that were shown on three large screens.  All in all, a "reel" good time was enjoyed by everyone.
